Define Supervisor Relationships

The first step in using the knowledge management function is to setup supervisor relationships which will allow a doctor or teamleader access to a users knowledge profiles and learn progress.

The supervisor relationship is setup by adding the teamleader's and/or doctor's user id into the supervisor field when a staff member signs up, or after sign up in the account sections (under modify details).

Where can I find the Supervisor Field?

How to add a supervisor to an account?

 Define Knowledge Profiles

The next step is to define Knowledge profiles for every user, which allows a doctor or supervisor to define which courses are part of an employee's field.

Once a course is assigned to an employee's knowlege, the employee will receive a note after logging in, which courses he/she has never taken a pretest or posttest but that are part of an employee's knowledge.

Defining knowledge profiles helps employees with chosing the right courses relevant to their work area.

Additionally a supervisor or user can add weights to the individual courses which will define how important each course is to an employees overall knowledge.

For advanced users, the weights allow a doctor or supervisor to fine tune measurement of practice knowledge by adjusting for part time employees.

Reprint Certificates & Observe Learning

When selecting report type: Certificates

The Knowledge management allows to see which courses were taken at what point in time, as well as the score that was achieved.

Earned CE certificates can also be reviewed and printed.

The drop down menus allow to filter CE certificates by user (staff member), course or date range.

Analyze Knowledge Levels

The Knowledge management then allows to chart knowledge levels for each staff member, for the entire practice, for each specialty and course and a variety of other ways.

.

A historical timeline allows to monitor knowledge level improvements over time.

Find Areas of improvements

The drop down menus allow a user to find knowledge gaps and areas of improvement in the practice as well as for individual employees.

Or for example a doctor is noticing increased number of bond failures. The knowledge management feature would allow him or her to select the relevant courses to locate the source and find areas of improvements, while the comprehensive course offering of ITICourses would provide the tools, checklists to fix the issues at hand.

Progress then again can be monitored using the knowledge management features.
