This course teaches the procedures for preparation of the materials needed for a diagnosis and treatment planning session, the steps for making a diagnosis, how to summarize findings from the records, how to write a problem list, how to write a diagnosis, how to list the possible treatment options and their advantages and disadvantages, how to write a Treatment Plan, and how to prepare for the treatment consultation with the patient.
This course was a collaboration among several orthodontists about the Diagnosis and Treatment Planning Process. Dr. Rebecca Poling, orthodontist, Anchorage, Alaska, and faculty at the New York College of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics, New York City, New York was the Editor for the course.
