Goal

The goal of this course is to discuss the differences between various wire types and when each type is used in orthodontics.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this course the student will be able to:

•      Describe 5 types of orthodontic wires

•      Describe the phase of treatment when each type of wire is used

•      Describe the purpose of each wire type
