Orthodontic Bonding Study Packet-This packet contains all of the forms and checklists to be studied when taking the Orthodontic Bonding Courses.  

OAP Non-RDA Packet 1- This packet contains all of the checklists used in training the non-RDA to perform 40 Tasks for the Lab, Preclinical, and Clinical portion of the California Orthodontic Assistant Permit Course.

OAP RDA Packet 2- This packet contains all of the checklists used in training the RDA to perform required tasks for the Lab, Preclinical, and Clinical portion of the California Orthodontic Assistant Permit Course.

OAP Etching, Placing, Positioning, and Removal of Brackets on Crowded Models-Packet 4- This packet includes all of the tasks for "etching," placing and positioning brackets, and removal of brackets on crowded models. This Lab exercise is used to teach these procedures as required in the California Orthodontic Assistant Permit Course.   

OAP Placing, Positioning, and Removal of Brackets on a Dentoform-Packet 6- This packet includes all of the tasks for "etching" and placing and positioning brackets on a mounted dentoform. This Lab exercise is used to teach, etching, bracket prepositioning, and removal as required in the California Orthodontic Assistant Permit Course.   

OAP Placing Brackets on a Partner-Packet 7- This packet includes all of the tasks for "etching" and placing and positioning brackets on a preclinical partner. This preclinical exercise is used to teach bracket prepositioning on a live partner as part of the California Orthodontic Assistant Permit Course. It also includes isolation with the NOLA Isolation System.

OAP Required Patient Experiences-Packet 8- This packet includes all of the clinical experiences with patients and checklists to evaluate those experiences that are required in the California Orthodontic Assistant Permit Course.

Bonding Special Surfaces-Packet 9- This packet includes all of the checklists for bonding to composite, porcelain, and metal surfaces.

Bending and Bonding Lingual Retainers-Packet 10- This packet includes all of the step-by-step checklists for bending and bonding lingual retainers in the maxillary and mandibular anteriors using a braided .0195 wildcat wire.

Torque Summary Chart-This form details the average torque values for brackets for each tooth.

Loose Bracket Analysis-These three spreadsheet programs are great to do before a formal training program is implemented to measure the number and percent of loose brackets, analyze the causes, and then set training goals to correct the problems.

Bracket Features-This spreadsheet is designed to help the doctor, Inventory employee, and Bracket Company Sales Representative to specify bracket features and calculate the cost of the order.
